Northeast Indiana Plans Hiring of 65 Workers KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (AP) - A northeastern Indiana auto parts plant
plans to hire 65 workers in the coming months as it starts a contract with
Chrysler.
Creative Liquid Coatings Inc. manager Stephen Geist told Kendallville officials
that the company is buying robots and other equipment for the new production
line. He said the Fort Wayne-based company's contract with Chrysler starts in
July and that it plans to hire the new workers by August.
The city's redevelopment commission voted Monday in favor of a 10-year phase-in
of city taxes on $2.5 million in equipment the company is buying.
The additional jobs will double the size of the factory's workforce.
